“Innovation for Development” project officially launched
Addis Ababa, March 17, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Innovation and Technology has announced the launch of a national project named “Innovation for Development”.
The project has been launched with partnership between the Ethiopian government and several development partners in a bid to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ethiopia.
Project is aid crucial to enhance economic growth and productivity, and facilitate job opportunities for women and youth in particular by supporting efforts underway to do so.
First meeting of Management Board of the project has held its first meeting virtually today in the presence of Innovation and Technology State Minister, Sania Seidmeki and Job Creation Commissioner, Nigusu Tilahun and UNDP Ethiopia representative Cleophas Torori.
During the meeting, the Board has approved the Annual Work Plan, Operation Manual and Working Documents and put in place directives for the execution of the project in collaborative and coordinated Way.
