Industry Minister Melaku Alebel confers with UNIDO Deputy DG Fatou Haidara

Addis Ababa, January 31, 2024 (FBC) –Melaku Alebel, Ethiopian Industry Minister, met with Fatou Haidara, Deputy Director-General, UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on Wednesday.

The two sides discussed achievements registered in activities being undertaken with support of UNIDO, challenges and future works to be carried out under the Ethiopia-UNIDO cooperation framework.

Melaku commended UNIDO’s ongoing support for Ethiopia’s manufacturing industry, calling for enhanced assistance from the organization to better transform the sector.

UNIDO Ethiopia performance report was presented and discussed by participants from both sides.
