Industrial Employers’ Confederation, Ethiopian Employers’ Confederation officially merged

Addis Ababa, November 2, 2020 (FBC) – Industrial Employers’ Confederation and the Ethiopian Employers’ Confederation officially merged in two one.

The two organizations have made the merger under the name “Ethiopian Employers’ Confederation”.

It is indicated on the merger ceremony that the two confederations have so far exerted great efforts over the last years devising the combination.

Expressing wishes on the merger, Minister of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye said the deiction made to form the combination is vital to build domestic economic capacity maintain national interest on the international level.

According to Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the merger is said to have a paramount significance in safeguarding right of employees and maintain good relationship between workers’ associations and the government.
