Indian investors keen on investing pharmaceuticals, textile sectors in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, January 20, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IDPC) in partnership with the Embassy in New Delhi have held a forum aimed at attracting more FDI to Ethiopia.

Officials of IDPC and Indian investors have participated in the forum where investment opportunities in Ethiopia and enabling climate in country’s industrial parks have been explained in details.

Some 60 Indian investors operating in Chennai city have provided with elaborated information about the enabling atmosphere created in 13 industrial parks being managed by IDPC.

The Indian investors who took part in the forum appreciated the opportunities in Ethipia and further expressed their interest to invest in garment and textile and pharmaceuticals in Ethiopia.
