India, Italy vow to deepen ties with Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, October 29, 2021 (FBC) – Foreign Affairs Ministers of India and Italy vowed commitment of their respective countries to deepen ties with Ethiopia.
The aasersion from the two ministers stated in their congratulatory message to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen.
Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the Indian Foreign Minister said his country Ken to transform its relationship with Ethiopia in multifaceted areas of cooperation. He said the two nations are in a better position to leverage their immense potential for mutual benefits of their peoples.
Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, on his part, underlined that the two countries need to join hands to further their historical relationship.
He underscored that Italy appreciates the measures Ethiopia is taking to address its internal circumstances in the light of its significant position to safeguard peace and security in the region.
