IGF 2022 Summit a massive opportunity to promote Ethiopia’s digital success: UN ECA Acting CEO

Addis Ababa, November 24, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, met with Antonio Pedro, acting CEO of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, in Niamey, Niger.

Antonio Pedro mentioned that the International Internet Governance Conference will be held on November 28, 2022, in Addis Ababa.

He pointed out that the Conference will be a massive platform to promote Ethiopia’s digital success to the rest of the world. He emphasized that Ethiopia should be represented at a high level.

DPM & M Demeke Mekonnen, for his part, assured that the Ethiopian government will help the forum.
