IGAD hands over IT equipments to Ethiopia’s MoH

Addis Ababa, August 9, 2023 (FBC) –The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) has handed over IT equipments to Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health.

It is sated that the IT equipments will support mechanisms on which will improve health data pipelines at cross-border areas and national level initiatives of the MoH.

It also aims to strengthen and support disease surveillance and monitoring in Ethiopia.

It is stated that the support is part of IGAD’s initiative supporting disease surveillance in the region by strengthen Health data sharing at cross border areas and at national level in IGAD member states.
