IGAD condemns today’s mortar attack on Somalia’s Parliament

Addis Ababa, April 18, 2022 (FBC) – Spokesperson for the IGAD Executive Secretary, Nuur Mohamud Sheekh stated that IGAD strongly condemns today’s mortar attack on Somalia’s Parliament that happened when MPs were convening to discuss important matters.

“We wish quick recovery to the injured, and stand in solidarity with the Government and people of Somalia in their fight against those undermining the peace.” Nuur Mohamud Sheekh underlined.
