HPC keen to engage in data center construction in Ethiopian industrial parks

Addis Ababa, January 17, 2024 (FBC) – An German company called HPC, which is based in America, expressed interest to invest in Ethiopian industrial parks. HPC is engaged in data center construction and related ICT sectors.

Industrial Parks Development Corporation’s Investment, Promotion and marketing Division Deputy CEO, Zemen Junedin, received and spoke to the company’s managing partner.

The deputy CEO appreciated the detailed investment request presented by the company and assured that the corporation will provide uninterrupted support for the success of the investment as Ethiopia is starting up huge development in the sector.

The managing Partner of the company, on the other hand, presented their investment proposal in detail and announced that they will start doing the necessary pre-investment activities for the investment.

The American-based company, which is owned by Germany, will create great potential opportunities for job creation, technology and knowledge transfer by bringing and assembling data centers in industrial parks.
