Hore Arsedi Irrecha is being celebrated in Bishoftu town

Addis Ababa, October 6, 2017 (FBC) – The celebrating of Hore Arsedi Irrecha festival is taking place in Bishoftu town in attendance of hundreds of thousands of people drawn from various parts of the country.

The festival is being celebrated under the theme “Irrecha for the Renaissance of Our Culture”.

The ceremony was attended by Abba Gadaas, Haadha Siinqees, officials at various levels and various sections of the society from all zones of Oromia Region.

Irrecha is a festival of the Oromo people to extend gratitude to the creator for the peaceful end of the rainy season and transition to the spring season.
