HoPR 3rd regular session underway in the presence of PM Abiy Ahmed

Addis Ababa, October 31, 2024 (FBC) – The FDRE House of People’s Representatives (HoPR) has commenced its third regular session of the current Ethiopian fiscal year in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

Parliamentarians are currently forwarding queries to the Prime Minister based on President Taye Atske-Selassie’s presentation at the joint opening session of the HoPR and House of Federation earlier this month. It is worth recalling that the President’s presentation outlined the federal government’s plans and priorities for the 2024/25 fiscal year.

Accordingly, Prime Minister Abiy is set to respond to queries forwarded by parliamentarians,

Ambassadors of various countries and representatives of international organizations based in Addis Ababa, religious leaders, senior government officials and other invited guests are attending the session.
