High-level Ethiopian delegation visits Kenya to deepen bilateral relations
Addis Ababa, December 20,An 2024 (FMC) — Ethiopian delegation, led by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, visited Kenya today and met with senior Kenyan officials in Nairobi.
As part of the visit, Foreign Minister Gedion held discussions with Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya.
The discussions centered on enhancing the robust ties between Ethiopia and Kenya and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
The delegation also met with J. Opiyo Wandayi, EGH. Cabinet Secretary – Energy and Petroleum of Kenya and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation on renewable energy and sustainable energy development.
The Ethiopian delegation included several high-ranking officials, including Engineer Habtamu Etefa, Minister of Water and Energy, Mr. Brook Taye, CEO of Ethiopian Investment Holdings, Engineer Andualem Siae, Deputy CEO of Ethiopian Electric Power and Ambassador Zerihun Abebe, Deputy Director General of African Affairs.
