High Level Ethiopian Delegation, Led by DPM & FM Demeke Mekonnen Arrives in Beijing, China

Addis Ababa, May 24, 2023 (FBC) – High level Ethiopian delegation led by Demeke Mekonnen, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has arrived in Beijing, China for an official visit.

Upon arrival in Beijing today, the Ethiopian high level delegation has warmly been welcomed by the Foreign Ministry of the People’s Republic of China, Head of Mission and staff of the FDRE Embassy in Beijing and representatves of the diaspora community in China.

Demeke will consult with the Chinese authorities on how to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between the two countries.

It’s to be recalled that the Chinese Foreign Minister paid a visit to Ethiopia in January 2023
