Health Minister visits reform progress at Felegehiwot hospital in Bahir Dar City

Addis Ababa, December 28, 2020 (FBC) – Minister of Health Dr. Lia Tadesse visited the reform activities of Felegehiwot Hospital of Bahir Dar City including Clean and Save Hospitals (CASH) project and Electronic Health Records implementation and the efforts to make the service areas patient centered.

She expressed gratitude to I thank the hospital leadership for their commitment to effectively implement the reform program.

Meanwhile, the 29th International Day of Persons with Disabilities has been marked in Bahir Dar yesterday under the theme “Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 World”.

Ministers of Ministry of Health and Labor and Social Affairs, Dr. Lia Tadesse and Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye along with other high ranking government officials have presided over the observance of the day.

On the occasion, the Health Minister, Dr. Lia Tadesse said “In an effort to increase equitable access for people with disabilities, we must work together to create a conducive environment with access to quality services.”
