Health Minister joins a charity walk on World Autism Awareness Day

Addis Ababa, April 2, 2023 (FBC) – On World Autism Awareness Day, the Health Minister, Dr. Lia Tadesse has joined ‘Tikuret Lesetoch Ena Lehitsanat Mahiber’ on the “Be the Voice for the Voiceless” charity walk at the Girar Village under construction.

The Minister said that the center is supporting children with multiple special needs and disabilities.

“For the last 16 years the center has been providing holistic support for children with multiple special needs and disabilities including education, medical care, feeding and most importantly supports thier mothers,” Dr. Lia stated.

“I sincerely thank the founder, Sister Asayech, and all working in the center for this loving care and support they are providing to more that 280 children and thier mothers currently and also thank all who are supporting this noble work.” She added.
