Health Minister Dr. Lia meets with UNFPA new country representative

Addis Ababa, February 27, 2021 (FBC) – The Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse has today met with the new UNFPA new country representative Dennia Gayle.

During thier meeting, the two discussed on jointly expanding one-stop and rehabilitation services to victims of GBV within the ongoing recovery and response work in Tigray and the humanitarian-development nexus for all conflict areas and IDPs in Ethiopia.

They further sought ways to further deepening the long-standing partnerships between Ethiopia and UNFPA in improving Reproductive, Maternal and Adolescent health and gender equity.
