Handover of China-aided Addis Ababa Riverside Green Dev’t Project held

Addis Ababa, October 3, 2022 (FBC) – The handover ceremony of the China-aided Ethiopian Riverside Green Development Project Phase II held in the presence of President Sahle-Work Zewde, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Chinese Ambassador in Addis Ababa Zhao Zhiyuan.

The project includes the science museum, children’s playground, wedding garden and other recreational facilities. On the occasion, Ambassador Zhao Zhiyuan described the project as a concrete symbol of Ethiopia-China friendship. 

“We are confident that it will drive the development of science and technology, be a preferred choice for conferences, gatherings, weddings and children’s activities with important social, tourism and commercial value.”
