Gov’t fully determined for successful implementation of peace agreement: GCS Minister

Addis Ababa, January 11, 2023 (FBC) – The FDRE Government Communication Service Minister, Legese Tulu, stated that the Ethiopian government is working with full commitment for the successful implementation of the peace agreement.

The Minister said in a post on his social media page that as per the Pretoria and Nairobi Peace Agreement, the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) have started taking over heavy weapons from the TPLF militants.

He stated that the beginning of TPLF’s handing over of heavy weapons to ENDF indicates the promising progress on implementation process of the peace agreement.

Legese also added that the federal government is working with full determination to the successful conclusion of the peace accord.
