Germany Reaffirms Continued Cooperation with Ethiopia in the Agri sector

Addis Ababa, March 24, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Minister of Agriculture Girma Amente, met with Germany Ambassador to Ethiopia Stephan Auer.

According to the Germany Embassy in Addis Ababa, during the meeting Ambassador Auer underlined the longstanding and successful cooperation between Germany and Ethiopia in agricultural sector.

Ambassador Stephan reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to further build the agricultural cooperation with Ethiopia, the embassy added.

On his part, Ethiopian Minister of Agriculture Girma Amente, appreciated the German Development Cooperation’s support to Ethiopia’s agriculture and rural development sector through GIZ and KFW, the embassy has stated.

He reaffirmed his Ministry’s commitment to strengthening the partnership and building on the milestones achieved in the past years, the embassy has also stated.
