Fundraising event held in Basel, Switzerland to support disadvantaged children in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, September 4, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the UN Office at Geneva and other International organizations in Switzerland, Tsegab Kebebew attended a fundraising dinner held in the town of Basel, Switzerland.

The event was organized by the Ethiopian born Sarah Rounder and her husband Christoph Rounder to support orphans and the needy children in Ethiopia.

During the event, Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew expressed his appreciation to the organizers and contributors to this noble cause.

Many friends of Ethiopia, Swiss nationals and Ethiopians participated in the event.

According to the organizers, Swiss Franc amounting to more than 561,000 ETB has been raised from the dinner event.
