France extends €500,000 support to conflict affected people in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 7, 2021 (FBC) – France has donated 500,000 Euros to Ethiopia in support of the efforts under way to rehabilitate people affected by the conflict in northern parts of the country.

The donation is said to be distributed both in kind and in cash to people in need of support in Afar, Amhara and Tigray regions.

According to the Embassy of France in Addis Ababa, 60,000 households will be provided with fertilizers and agricultural equipment while other 130 IDPs will benefit from livelihood improvement support out of the donation.
