FM Taye confers with his Turkish counterpart
Addis Ababa, August 4, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Foreign Minister Ambassador Taye Astake-Selassie engaged in discussions with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in Addis Ababa this morning.
The two foreign ministers explored various bilateral and regional topics, including the current state of affairs in Somalia and Sudan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (MFA Ethiopia).
During their conversation, the two ministers emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
Note that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Addis Ababa on Saturday morning and had an earlier meeting with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on ways of further strengthening bilateral relations
