FM Gedion says OSC has potential to become vital platform for South-South cooperation

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2024 (FBC) — The Organization for Southern Cooperation (OSC), headquartered in Ethiopia, is holding its 2nd OrdinarybSession of the General Assembly in Addis Ababa from November 25-28, 2024.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, warmly welcomed the delegates and extended his best wishes for a successful assembly.

In his address, the Foreign Minister praised the OSC’s significant achievements in a short time and reaffirmed Ethiopia’s steadfast commitment to supporting its mission.

He highlighted the organization’s potential to become a crucial platform for South-South cooperation and called for collaboration with other institutions and centers of excellence to further its objectives.
