First Lady Zinash inaugurates bakery, flour mill in Agaro town
Addis Ababa, October 23, 2022 (FBC) – The Office of the First Lady-Ethiopia has inaugurated the bakery and flour mill it built in Agaro town on Sunday 23 October.
FDRE Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew inaugurated the bread and flour factory in attendance of the Oromia region president, Shimels Abdisa, and other government officials.
FBC understands that the factory has the capacity to produce 300,000 loaves of bread and 42 tons of flour per day.
It took seven months to build and complete the factory, and the construction work was carried out by the partnership of MIDROC Investment Group and Hebei Pingle Flour Machinery Group.
The Agaro bread and flour factory is the first of the projects to be inaugurated among other similar projects being built in 11 cities by the First Lady’s Office.
It is known that the Office of the First Lady has completed the construction of similar factory in Addis Ababa that can produce 1 million loaves of bread per day.
