Finland Seeks to Enhance Bilateral Relations with Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, November 25, 2024 (FBC) – Finland has shown a keen interest in deepening its relationship with Ethiopia. The Foreign Relations and Peace Affairs Standing Committee of the House of Peoples Representatives engaged in discussions with a Finnish parliamentary delegation on ways to strengthen ties between the two nations.
Ambassador Dina Muftin, Chairperson of the Ethiopia-Finland Diplomatic Friendship Committee, provided insights into the existing relationship and identified potential areas for further collaboration. He highlighted the long-standing cooperation between the two countries in sectors such as water management and digitalization, emphasizing the importance of elevating this partnership.
In response, the Finnish parliamentary delegation expressed a strong desire to expand their collaborative efforts with Ethiopia across parliamentary and various other sectors.
