Finance Minister Ahmed Shide meets with IMF directors 

Addis Ababa, October 13, 2022 (FBC) – The Finance Minister Ahmed Shide who is taking part in the 2022 International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group Annual meetings has met with directors of various departments of the IMF.

Ahmed met and discussed with Director General of IMF African Department Abebe Aemeroselassie and Director of the IMF African Caucus Ita Manatoko and heads of the Ethiopian delegation.

The discussion was focused on how to enhance cooperation between the IMF and Ethiopia and facilitate discussions between the Government of Ethiopia and creditors towards a debt restructuring initiative for the nation.
