Finance Minister Ahmed Shide discusses with Denmark’s Development, Cooperation Minister

Addis Ababa January 23, 2023 (FBC) – Ministry of Finance Ahmed Shede discuss with Denmark’s Minister of Development Cooperation and International Climate Policy, Dan Jørgensen.

According to Ministry of Finance, the two sides discuss on the economic cooperation and current affairs of the two countries.

Ministry of Finance Ahmed Shede briefed the Ambassador on the comprehensive development efforts being carried out in the country after the peace agreement, the activities carried out in the restoration, rehabilitation and the second homegrown economic reform, MoF stated.

Denmark is Ethiopia’s sustainable development partner and it will continue to strengthen its development and humanitarian support to Ethiopia, Dan Jurgens pointed out on his part.

He added that the recently signed peace agreement will contribute positively to the country’s economic and social activities.

Denmark will provide Ethiopia with development and rehabilitation support as well as the necessary help in climate change, He also pointed out.

The ministry also indicates that Denmark’s investors are interested in investing in Ethiopia.
