Federal Police, ENDF thwart terror plots, neutralize insurgent groups 

Addis Ababa, August 18, 2022 (FBC) – The joint operation of Ethiopian Federal Police and ENDF effectively thwarted several terror plots and neutralized several members of Shene and other terrorist groups, said Deputy Commissioner General of the Department of Crime Prevention at the Ethiopian Federal Police, in the annual report review of the Department. 

According to General Melaku, the Ethiopian Federal Police, which takes the mission of its own to protect the peace and security of the country, has created a dauntless power towards remarkable achievements.

He also said that many successes have been recorded in the work done by setting up the university, aviation, industry and tourism, railroad and contraband control by forming institutional security police, making it convenient for efficient service, and to achieve the country’s renaissance.

The General Department of Crime Prevention of the Federal Police of Ethiopia has been deployed throughout the country and has been carrying out urgent tasks by maintaining the security of the country and the peace of its citizens, according to the Department.
