Executive Secretary Workneh visits construction site of the new IGAD Headquarters

Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Workneh Gebeyehu (PhD), toured the construction site of the new IGAD Headquarters, a landmark project commissioned by member states.

This mega-structure symbolizes our unity and embodies our vision of an integrated IGAD, serving the collective benefit of all, Workneh noted.

“By centralizing all IGAD offices, the new headquarters will enhance our operational efficiency and stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to regional integration and cooperation,” the Executive Secretary pointed out.
