EU says accountability, redress measures taken by Ethiopia for conflict-related violations ‘positive steps’

Addis Ababa, June 2, 2022 (FBC) – Ministry of Justice jointly with the Inter-ministerial Task Force of Ethiopia briefed European Ambassadors based in Addis Ababa on measures being taken by the Government on human rights violations related to the conflict in the northern part of the country.

EU Delegation to Ethiopia called the joint briefing Ministry of Justice and the Task Force ‘very informative.

“Accountability and redress measures taken for conflict-related human rights violations are positive steps in right direction,”

Ministry of Justice is committed to continuous updates, the Delegation said.
