EU reiterates commitment to continue supporting CSOs in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, October 11, 2023 (FBC) – The European Union delegation in Ethiopia reiterated that in will continue supporting Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the country.

That was said after the EU Civil Society Fund III programme closure event earlier today.

It is learned that the programme has been under implementation since 2018 following the successful implementation of CSF I and CSF II that started in 2006.

The EU delegation confirmed that it has been supporting more than 60 civil society organizations (CSOs) over the past five years to enable them to contribute to the development and democratisation in Ethiopia.

To this end, the EU delegation in Ethiopia reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting CSOs in the country.
