Ethiopia’s efforts to ensure sustainable regional peace, development will continue to grow: Minister
Addis Ababa, March 28, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s efforts to ensure mutual development, sustainable peace and trade ties in the East African zone will be strengthened, the Peace Minister Binalf Andualem said.
The pledge by the Peace Minister was made at the panel discussion ENA organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Peace and the Ethiopian Electric Power under the theme of “Regional Peace and Solidarity for Sustainable Economic Integration”.
Also in attendance were members of House of People’s Representatives, Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Electric Power Engineer Ashebir Balcha, State Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Fiseha Yitagesu and other senior government officials and invited guests.
Panelists presented papers, focusing on the contribution of regional peace and solidarity to sustainable economic integration.
The geopolitical analysis of East Africa and Ethiopia’s contribution to the peace and stability of the region will be explored during discussion.
Ethiopia’s firm position in promoting African solutions to African problems and its contribution to continental and regional peace are also major points of discussion.
