Ethiopia’s COVID 19 death toll nears 1000 mark

Addis Ababa, September 13, 2020 (FBC) – Ministry of Health stated that the total number of COVID 19 deaths in Ethiopia reached 996 including 10 fatalities reported on Saturday.

The Ministry has confirmed 521 coronavirus cases, the largest drop in a month, out of 8,191 laboratory tests conducted in twenty four hours.

Following the new report, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 63, 888.

The recoveries have increased to 24,493 including 469 on Saturday.

There are 38, 397 active cases in the country of which 345 are in severe condition.
