Ethiopia’s ambassador to Russia presents his letter of credence to President Vladimir Putin
Addis Ababa, November 5, 2024 (FBC) — Genet Teshome Jirru, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, presented his letter of credence to Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, at a grand ceremony held in Moscow today.
During the ceremony, President Putin emphasized Russia’s strong ties with countries with which it has established diplomatic relations, noting the successful conclusion of the recent 16th BRICS summit.
The President also mentioned that Russia has completed all necessary preparations to host the upcoming Russia-Africa Ministerial Partnership, scheduled to take place in Sochi from November 9–10, 2024.
