Ethiopians in Turkey team up against foreign meddling
Addis Ababa, November 15, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopians who are living Turkey held a conclave aimed at enhancing their participation in overall activities in their homeland.
Members of the Diaspora community vowed to stand in unison to fend off foreign meddling and pressures against Ethiopia and effectively respond to the humanitarian needs in the country.
During their discussion, the Diaspora community members said the ongoing external pressure and media campaign is not only targeting Ethiopia, but also the entire continent. They said they are working to bring other Africans together in the fight against foreign interference in internal affairs of Ethiopia and the entire region at large.
On the occasion, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Turkey, Adem Mohammed underscored the responsibility of the Diaspora community in contributing to national efforts underway to address circumstances in the country.
