Ethiopians in South Sudan pledge to extend support to ENDF

Addis Ababa, November 16, 2021 (FBC) – The Ethiopian embassy in South Sudan has discussed with Ethiopians living in South Sudan on current situations in Ethiopia.

Discussants denounced the destructive actions of the TPLF and the undue pressures from some corners of the international community against the government of Ethiopia.

Ambassador of Ethiopia in South Sudan, Nebil Mahdi, noted the destabilizing roles that the TPLF have continued to play following their expulsion from power through protests in Ethiopia.

He appreciated the pledge of Ethiopians in South Sudan to donate 13, 000 USD to the ENDF and expressed his hope that they would continue to support noble causes in Ethiopia.

Participants have offered a minute of silent prayer commemorating the fallen soldiers of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces and soldiers from the Afar and Amhara regions.
