Ethiopian’s Airbus A350-1000 aircraft set to fly to Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro

Addis Ababa, November 10, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines’ latest acquisition Airbus A350-1000 aircraft is set to fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport, located in Hai District of the Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania, from its hub Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, the Airline confirmed today.

In a social media post published this morning, the Airline stated that Africa’s first Airbus A350-1000 is set to greet the continent’s highest mountain soon.

Recall that the airline’s new 395-seat Airbus A350-1000 aircraft has made its first flights to several destinations across the world in the past few days from Bole International Airport, including Lagos, Dubai, and Accra.

It is known that Ethiopian Airlines, the biggest carrier in Africa, took delivery of the Airbus A350-1000 passenger plane from Airbus company in a ceremony held on 4th November 2024 in Toulouse Blagnac, France.

Named “Ethiopia: Land of Origins”, this brand new aircraft touched down at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for the first time on Tuesday, 5th November 2024.
