Ethiopian Week will be celebrated from May 18-24
Addis Ababa, May 4, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Week will be celebrated from May 18-24 with various events, coordinating committee stated.
The celebration of the week is intended to promote Ethiopia’s tourism resources and facilitate conducive environment that would help create investment opportunities out of the tourism sector.
Initiated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the arrangements for the festival of Ethiopian Week is being carried out by three women ministers.
The Culture and Tourism Minister, Dr. Hirut Kassaw, the Women Children and Youths Minister, Filsen Abdullah and Urban Development and Construction Minister, Engineer Aysha Mohammed are leading the arrangement of the festival.
The income to be mobilized from the festival is intended to finance efforts underway to rehabilitate internally displaced people in the country.
