Ethiopian to resume domestic flights to Axum town on June 9

Addis Ababa, June 8, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Airlines announced that it will begin flights to Axum town of Tigray Region as of tomorrow, the 9th of June 2024.

Commercial Sector Executive Officer of the Ethiopian Airlines, Lemma Yadecha disclosed that the necessary preparations have been carried out to resume the flight.

Accordingly, the airlines will begin its flights to Axum, which is one of the celebrated tourist destinations of Ethiopia, as of tomorrow June 9, 2024.

For the time being the flight will be once every day and will be increased to three times in a week as per the demands of the customers, it was indicated.

The resumption of the flights to Axum will play pivotal role to restoring the tourist flow and enhance social interactions, as reported by ENA.
