Ethiopian, Safaricom launch M-PESA Wallet payment option

Addis Ababa, January 25, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines and Safaricom Ethiopia today joined forces to launch of M-PESA Wallet as a payment option.

Ethiopian Holiday (ET-Holiday) Vice President Hailemelekot Mamo and Safaricom Ethiopia Chief Financial Services Officer, Paul Kavavu announced the launching.

The M-PESA Wallet is an online mobile payment option that facilitates booking process of Ethiopian and cross-border customers.

Leveraging the M-PESA Wallet, travelers can seamlessly execute online bookings, payments, and ticket acquisitions, enhancing the airfare payment process with unparalleled ease, convenience, and reliability.
