Ethiopian Red Cross Association receives ambulances, vehicles worth 70mln birr

Addis Ababa, August 22, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Red Cross Association has received ambulances and medical supplies worth 70 million from the International Committee of the Red Cross and Austria’s Association. The donation includes 20 ambulances, 19 vehicles and 25 generators to be distributed to areas affected by conflict and drought.

Secretary General of Ethiopian Red Cross Association, Getachew Ta’a said that the supplies will have a paramount importance in expediting efforts underway to restore health facilities and accelerate services in conflict and drought affected communities.
