Ethiopian marks International Women’s Day with all-women flight to Zanzibar

Addis Ababa March 8, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Airlines is marking International Women’s Day by operating an all-women flight to Zanzibar.

According to Ethiopian, the flag carrier is celebrating the 2023 International Women’s Day.  Ethiopian disclosed that it is marking International Women’s Day by operating an all-women flight from Addis Ababa to Zanzibar.

The flight has been operated by female professionals in the sky as well as on the ground, the airline said adding airport operations, flight dispatch, load control, ramp operation, on-board logistics, safety and security, catering as well as air-traffic control are to be carried out entirely by women.

Ethiopian added that the 7th annual all women flight initiative is the airlines’ trend that marks the International Women’s Day.

The all-women crew flight has conducted by Capitan Amsale Gualu, according to Ethiopian.
