Ethiopian Intellectual Property Academy officially launched
Addis Ababa, July 4, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia with support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) established Intellectual Property Academy in Addis Ababa.
The Academy has been officially launched with attendance of high government officials and members of the diplomatic community and representatives of international organizaions.
On the launching ceremony, Director General of the Office of Intellectual Property, Ermias Yemaneberhan (PhD) said the institutions will serve as a center of excellence to foster innovation and support the economic growth through scientific outputs.
The academy is said to start its groundbreaking activity by offering Training of Trainers for candidates to be drawn from higher education institutions, research institutions and agencies of certified innovators, it is leaned.
