Ethiopian Federal Police chief discusses with delegation of German Federal Police
Addis Ababa, November 17, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Federal Police Commissioner, General Demelash Gebre-Michael, held discussion with the German delegation led by Helm Schroth, the representative of the German Federal Police and the senior advisor of the International Relations of Police.
During the discussion, Commissioner General Demelash explained to the delegation the successful activities carried out by the Ethiopian Federal Police in the last four years of reform and the level of development the institution has reached.
He also gave a tour to the delegation in the modern technologies that the Ethiopian Federal Police equipped.
The representative of the German Federal Police and the Senior Advisor of the International Relations of the Police, Helm Schroth, said that the German Federal Police is ready for the document investigation, which will help to strengthen the projects designed by Afripol and control illegal human trafficking.
According to the Ethiopian Federal Police, the delegation affirmed support to the Ethiopian Police University’s strong efforts to achieve its vision of becoming a center of excellence in East Africa.
He also said that they will further strengthen their relationship with the Ethiopian Federal Police in the security and intelligence.
In addition, the delegation pledged to support the efforts being made to modernize the Forensic Department of the Ethiopian Federal Police with training and logistics.
