Ethiopian envoy, Chinese officials discuss bilateral, regional issues

Addis Ababa, March 3, 2021 (FBC) –Ethiopian Ambassador to China, Teshome Toga has held discussion with Director-General of Department of African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

The two sides discussed the bilateral relations, regional and global issues of common concern and interest to both Ethiopia and China.

Ambassador Teshome briefed the Director General on current national and border issues between Ethiopia and Sudan.

He also updated the Chinese official on the current status of the tripartite negotiations on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) between Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt.
