Ethiopian envoy, CCPIT chair discuss progress of recent agreements

Addis Ababa, July 10, 2024 (FBC) – Ambassador Tefera Derbew and Deputy Head of Mission Ambassador Dewano Kedir had a productive meeting with Mr. Guo Huaigang, Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), in Beijing.

In June this year, a delegation of 30 companies led by Chairperson Guo visited Ethiopia and met with high-level government officials. They held a successful forum at the Skylight Hotel, during which various Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed between Ethiopian and Chinese companies.

In that regard, Ambassador Tefera and his team visited the CCPIT in Beijing to hear feedback and follow up on the progress of these agreements entered, the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing stated.

They also discussed ways to further strengthen the already established relations between the Embassy of Ethiopia and CCPIT Beijing.
