Ethiopian delegation to visit Pakistan soon: Envoy

Addis Ababa, April 4, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation consisting of high-level government officials will visit the Islamic Republic of Pakistan soon, according to Jemal Beker, Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan.

Ambassador Jemal held productive meeting with Africa Additional Secretary at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Javed Umrani, for advancing bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Pakistan in different sectors through bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The Ethiopian envoy also briefed Javed Umrani regarding preparations being made for Pak-bound high-level delegation of Ethiopian government.

Recall that the Pakistani business delegation has visited Ethiopia last month to explore investment and trade opportunities.

It is indicated that preparations are afoot by the Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest carrier, to start its maiden flight from its hub in Addis Ababa to Karachi, Pakistan, on May 2, 2023.
