Ethiopian Delegation participates in ID4Africa 2023 meeting in Nairobi, Kenya

Addis Ababa, May 24, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Delegation led by Tesfaye Dhaba, State Minister for Cabinet Affairs at office of the Prime Minister is participating at the Digital Identity as Public Infrastructure (ID4Africa 2023) meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.

It is stated that Ambassador General Bacha Debele, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to UNEP and UNHABITAT is also in attendance along with Ethiopian delegation.

Founded in 2014, ID4Africa is the only Pan-African Movement that helps African nations build their strategic capacity needed for developing robust and responsible identity ecosystems in the service of development and humanitarian action.

The Movement believes inclusive identity schemes built on the respect of privacy and human rights are essential for economic growth and for digital transformation of government.
