Ethiopian delegation partakes in China-Africa Dialogue on Int’l TVET Cooperation, Dev’t

Addis Ababa, April 28, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation, led by Teshale Berecha, Minister of State at the Ministry of Labour and Skills, is participating in the thematic Discussion on “Dialogue on International TVET Cooperation and Development (China and Africa)”.

It is said that the forum is a platform where China shares its rich experience in the TVET sector with African countries and work together to solve the real challenges of the sector and bring progress within the framework of cooperation.

Minister of State at the Ministry of Labour and Skills, Teshale Berecha, said that the cooperation between China and Africa, China and Ethiopia in particular, in the TVET sector plays pivotal role in promoting technology.

The Minister of State stated that Ethiopia will use it to increase its capacity and experience in the sector through cooperation.

Teshale and his delegation consulted with the Governor of Shandong Province on the sidelines of the event, highlighting the activities of the Ministry in line with the development aspirations of Ethiopia.

The China-Africa International TVET Development & Cooperation Forum is being held from April 27 to 29, 2023, in Jinan, China’s Shandong Province, under the theme of “New opportunities for common Development in the New Era”.
