Ethiopian delegation meets with Turkish Foreign Minister

Addis Ababa, July 16, 2020 (FBC) –An Ethiopian delegation led by former President Mulatu Teshome met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.

The two sides discussed current bilateral and regional issues of high significance for the two strategic partners.

After the discussion, the Turkish FM tweeted that “We had a fruitful meeting with the Special Representative of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and former President of Ethiopia, Mulatu Teshome Wirtu.”

“We have agreed to improve our cooperation in all areas, especially trade and investment,” he added.
